DeVine Books are a growing collection of fiction stories about the lives of mostly professional women who have on their own or by dumb luck become a part of the legal system’s growing number of ‘felons’. The stories, yet non-fiction are situations that occur every day, however only a small part of the women’s story is told. It is my intention to educate the public through these stories of the reality of crimes that aren’t shown on “Lock-up, Hard Time,” and other Prison TV shows. And to show the effects it has on the family unit and hopefully to prevent someone whose life maybe mirroring one of those in the story to change before they become a “Women In Trouble.” I have many more stories that will be released in the near future. I invite you to read one or all .

There are many inmates whose family have completely disconnected and left them all alone. There is nothing so sad than to think and feel there is not one single human being in this world that is concerned about you or that you can communicate with. We have created this website to allow you to meet and share a few moments of your day in written communication with someone behind the wall. Visit www.letsmakesomethinghappen.com and connect with an inmate of your choice and also enjoy all the other features of this site.
